Transfo Zwevegem

Transfo Zwevegem, Zwevegem's old power station, has been generating steam and electricity in the region since 1911. The power station is now repurposed.

The factory along the Kortrijk-Bossuit canal remained active until 2001.

Chimneys

Eye-catchers include the factory chimneys and the water tower on four concrete legs.

Engine room

The engine room was the beating heart of the power plant in which turbines and turbo generators were stacked.

After its closure, the industrial site was repurposed. Now conferences, sports activities, and art projects are organized there.
